Art in the news: A "new" painting by Vincent Van Gogh

Vincent Van Gogh died in 1890, and yet he and his work are still very much in the news today.

Find examples of Van Gogh's earlier work, such as The Potato Eaters and contrast that to his later work.  What kind of differences do you see?  Any similarities?  What does the article suggest caused this change in style?  What do you think caused this change in his style?
